I try not to waste food, all food I buy, I cook/ eat or put in the freezer, or preserve in jars. I cook several portions at once and put them in the refrigerator for later consumption. 

Încerc să nu risipesc mâncarea, toate alimentele pe care le cumpăr, le gătesc/ mănânc sau pun la congelator sau conserv în borcane. Gatesc mai multe portii odata si le pun la frigider pentru consum ulterior.

I selectively collect plastic or paper packaging for recycling. I have a big basket with lid from Pepco and I put there 2 trash bags to fill, one with paper and one with plastic.

Colectez selectiv ambalaje din plastic sau hârtie pentru reciclare. Am un cos mare cu capac de la Pepco si am pus acolo 2 saci de gunoi de 60 litri de umplut, unul cu hartie si unul cu plastic.

I try to create a meal plan every week, to know what to buy, what to cook each week. This meal planner was baught on a last sale from urbantale.ro. I like the way it's divided but it was marketed as a collab with tastebazar and I was hoping for some more examples of meal plans, maybe recipes too, hoped in vain.

Încerc să îmi creez un plan de masă în fiecare săptămână, să știu ce să cumpăr, ce să gătesc în fiecare săptămână. Acest planificator de mese a fost cumpărat la o ultimă promotie de pe urbantale.ro. Îmi place felul în care este împărțit, dar a fost promovat ca o colaborare cu tastebazar și mai speram la câteva exemple de planuri de masă, poate și rețete, speranțe în zadar.

I have a small vegetable garden and in the warm months I have there tomatoes, peppers, eggplants, parsley, onion, that little garden provides me small amounts of produce for my kitchen.

Am o grădină mică de legume și în lunile calde am acolo roșii, ardei, vinete, pătrunjel, ceapă, grădina  îmi oferă cantități mici de produse pentru bucătărie.

I bake bread or I take it from my mother who bakes bread also. 

Coc pâine sau o iau de la mama care și ea coace pâine.

I have my own textile shopping bags that are easy to carry in my purse. I have these 2 from Aliexpress but I have seen some at Carturesti too. I have small textile bags for legumes/fruits. (find them at Lidl/ Kaufland) .

Am propriile mele genți de cumpărături din material textil care sunt ușor de purtat în poșetă. Am acestea 2 de la Aliexpress dar am vazut si la Carturesti. Am pungi textile mici pentru leguminoase/fructe. (găsești la Lidl/Kaufland) .

I try to buy from the supermarket legumes/ fruits labeled as "from Romania".

Încerc să cumpăr de la supermarket leguminoase/fructe etichetate „din România”.

I use various plastic reusable containers for food, reusable zip plastic bags and only occasionally simple plastic bags. I considered glass containers, but they are trickier to maneuver, aka they can break easily.

Folosesc diverse recipiente din plastic reutilizabile pentru alimente, pungi de plastic reutilizabile cu fermoar / zip-bags și doar ocazional pungi de plastic simple. Am luat în considerare recipientele din sticlă, dar sunt mai dificil de manevrat, adică se pot sparge ușor.

I try to use green eco cleaning products whenever available.

Încerc să folosesc produse ecologice de curățare ori de câte ori sunt disponibile.

I use textile napkins for drying the dishes and cutlery and cleaning the kitchen tops. I have several, and I hang them in hooks that I mounted on the fridge side or on the wall. I only use paper towels when necessary. 

Folosesc servetele textile pentru ștergerea vaselor si a tacamurilor si curatarea blaturilor din bucatarie. Am mai multe, si le atarn in carlige pe care le-am montat pe partea laterala a frigiderului sau pe perete. Folosesc prosoape de hârtie când este necesar.

I have bought a compost box, it's my first try, curious how it will work. I will put there plants from the garden and vegetal remains from the kitchen, I have to water the contents each week and mix the contents once a month. I will update this article when possible. 

PROBLEMS | PROBLEME

Bottled water. We have filters installed but we buy bottled watter too.

Apă îmbuteliată. Avem filtre instalate, dar cumpărăm și apă îmbuteliată.

I don't buy local producs so much, only occasionally, I buy what I find in the supermarket.

Nu cumpăr atât de mult produse locale, doar ocazional, cumpăr ce găsesc în supermarket.

TO IMPROOVE | DE ÎMBUNĂTĂȚIT

Buy more locally, go to the local market more often and buy local products of the season. 

Buy in bulk (beans, pasta, etc) and use my own containers.

I recently bought a composting container and will start making compost, curious to see how that goes.

We have stove with gas, maybe we will switch in the future to an electric one. 

Să cumpăr mai mult local, să merg mai des la piața locală și să cumpăr produse locale ale sezonului.

Să cumpăr în vrac (fasole, paste, etc) și să folosesc propriile mele recipiente.

Am cumpărat recent un recipient de compost și voi începe să fac compost, să curiosă să văd cum merge.

Avem aragaz cu gaz, poate trecem pe viitor la unul electric.
